Coffee while pregnant?
Hey girls. I have a question. I did lots of researches and read that one cup a day under 200mcg of coffee is fine. I drink a small cup every day. Does anyone else drink coffee? What is your input on that?

i did in the beginning, but then had an aersion to it.. in the late 2ndtrimester, i found i was ok to drink decaf. I have 1-2 cups per day.. so yummy!!!

My first pregnancy I was still working so I had 3-4 medium cups a week. My second pregnancy I was a SAHM so it dropped to maybe 1 or 2 a week.

I drink half a cup a day. My dr said a small cup is good but I decided half a cup made me feel comfortable...

I drink tea or coffee. I did during my first pregnancy as well, my doctor said in moderation it was fine!

In the begining i was turned off by coffee, once my MS was gone i started drinking it again. About 1 cup a day. I did this with my 1st DC and he came out fine!

i used to drink coffee every day. since getting pregnant, NO interest. i dont think ive had coffee in 3 weeks BUT i've heard 1-2 small cups per day is ok.

I was a coffee drinker before preggo and once my body didn't want anymore I stopped ~ 1st Tri I couldn't stomach it but I have been back to drinking it the last couple of months and I only have one cup in the morning (light roast)

My doc okay'd 2 small cups a day. I was never a big coffee drinker to begin with, just one cup in the morning so that's all I do now.

I was told one cup a day was fine. Early on I just didn't want coffee out of the blue. Now I drink either decaf tea or half caff tea.

I hated coffee during my first pregnancy (weird b/c I LOVE coffee normally). This time I like it, so I limit myself to one small cup (8 oz) a day.

With my first pregnancy I stopped drinking it asa I found out I was pregnant at 5 w and started again when I stopped BF when DD was 7 mo. but I also didn't have any other kids then, lol.
This time around I had planned to do the same , but I couldn't do it, I need that "pick me up/ start my day" cup, I tried for 6 weeks and it was really hard (even though I am not a big coffee drinker, one cup a day is all I drink normally) my OB said don't kill yourself, one cup a day is fine, he just said to not drink a very strong coffee.
I make the coffee very light though, lots of milk or cream.

Yes, I drink 1/2 decaf. Even Starbucks will make it like that!

I was told a 8oz coffee is fine. I am a big coffee drinker so this was difficult. I have a 1/2 calf in the morning and if I wan another I have decaf.
