crashing - obgyn question/recommendation
Hi ladies - I'm not pregnant now, but hope to be in the next couple years. Ideally, for a variety of reasons, I want to deliver at NSLIJ (the one in New Hyde Park) but can't find a doctor anywhere near me that is affiliated with NSLIJ. My doctor right now is with NYU. I live in Brooklyn, which is why it's more difficult, I guess. I'd go to a dr anywhere in Manhattan or Brooklyn, and maybe Queens depending where it was. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sorry, my bad, I guess I wasn't specific enough - the one in New Hyde Park (the only one that isn't known by its location). I'll edit my original post, too.

My doctor only delivers there. He has offices in Westbury, Howard Beach, Richmodn Hill and Forest Hills.
The one in Howard Beach is close to the Belt Pkwy.

I have been going there for over 10 years and LOVE them. I have been to all the offices. The doctors, nurses and staff are all always so helpful.
Dr Scarantino delivered my son, neice and will deliver DC #2 (in ~19 wks)

I'll ask my husband to ask his coworker. His coworkers wife is planning on giving birth at LIJ and they live in Bay Ridge not sure if their dr is in brooklyn.

i agree.. Dr. Scarantino is great.. he was my dr for 11 years but i switched to the office i go to now bc their hours worked better for me & i wanted to deliver out of north shore manhasset
