If you know your O date (and it doesn't go with LMP) does OB change DD?
I'm pretty sure there's a 5 or 6 day difference in what my due date would be between my LMP date and when I actually ovulated. Did anyone have this issue? What did your OB say?

Re: If you know your O date (and it doesn't go with LMP) does OB change DD?
I used to fight with my OB over this constantly. I know when I O'd. I know when I conceived (within a day). My cycles were always long. But he was going off of LMP- putting me as conceiving 2 weeks past my last LMP- and I never ever ovulated 2 weeks after my period. I even did OPK's and it had my ovulating 2 weeks after that. But he was also going off the sonos- and he said the sono is most accurate and it doesn't lie. I didn't believe him. I told everyone I would go late because he had my due date wrong. Then I gave birth the day before the due date he had given me from the very start. I guess he was right and I was wrong- but I am still stumped as to how?

Yes, I O'd later than LMP would put my DD at and so my DD changed a couple of time until I got sono measurements the first couple of appts. Baby caught up and now I am due to where my LMP would originally put me at.

yes, usually.
by last AF, I am due 1/25 by O date, I am due 1/28 ...
it all depends on how the baby is measuring and they usually adds up to O date.

The OB used the LMP even though I knew when I O'ed.

Yes. I have pcos and my lmp was 3/11 but o o'd on 5/3...confirmed with digital opk and sono at my re. I am 6w 4d bit if they went off of my lmp, i'd be much further along.

Same. And the sono correlates more with the LMP date as well.

I had this with DD. At my 12-week sono, they bumped my due date back 11 days! With this baby, I'm a few days behind but they won't move my date unless there was a 7 day+ difference.

Mine goes by the measurements eventhough I did ivf and know exactly when retrieval is. Then the peri said they go by transfer date. So I don't have an actual due date lol.

Re: If you know your O date (and it doesn't go with LMP) does OB change DD?
My O date is definitely off by my LMP. My doc said as long as the size of the baby from the sonos are less than a week's difference they go by my LMP. It's a 6 day didference for me.
