Ques regarding water when FF
I am hoping I can BF but I had a reduction 16 yrs ago and have been told there is a good possibility I won't be able to. I want to be prepared to FF just in case. My question is can I use one of those filters you screw onto your sink tap or should I invest in a water cooler?
TIA!

We just use a regular brita pitcher so I would think a filter attached to the faucet is fine. But I'm pretty relaxed about these things.

I always used filtered water from the fridge (the filter is inside and you get the water from the door). So I think a tap filter would work as well. I've actually learned from what I read that filtered water is better than bottled water for mixing formula bottles.
As a side note, I highly recommend getting the Dr. Brown's Formula Mixing Pitcher and making one day's worth at a time (once the baby's having a bigger amount) and storing it in the fridge (you can use it for up to 24 hours from when you mix it) so that the bubbles collapse -- it helps the baby be a lot less gassy, rather than shaking the bottle each time you mix it. Another option is getting a small bottle of gas drops and putting a drop or two in the bottle and swishing it around when you make a bottle of formula if you're using the powder.
