 spotting question?? Update- bad news
Hi everyone, I just had a little scare about an hour ago - I went to the bathroom to pee and as I was wiping I noticed a little spotting ( pinkish). Today is my 6 week mark.
I called the Dr and he told me that he was going to find a place to sonogram me on Monday and asked if I was cramping. ( which I am not)

He is hoping that my pregnancy is implanted well- as are we and said we would speak Monday. He told me to call him back if I had any cramping or heavier bleeding.
I went ot pee again 30 min. later and no more blood.
DH jumped on te computer and started researching spotting.
My queation is: Have any of youy experienced this? COuld this be normal?
  Thanks for your help-

UPDATE: What was just spotting went a lot further and turned into cramping. We ended up going to the hospital @ 12:30am and nature just took its course.
We are very upset but guess that this pregnancy was not going to be a viable one. I suppose it wasn't our time-
THe good news for us throughout this process is the fact that I even got pregnant ( we tried for over a year- that in itself is a miracle) and the Dr told we can try again after my next af. I had my appt set up with a fertility specilist when I got my BFP. The Dr. also said that there is no reason that I can't have a healthy pregnancy.

      I do have faith
I look forward to returning to this board soon with all of you awesome ladies-

 Re: spotting question?? (TMI)
Yes it could be very normal, especially since you don't have cramping. I spotted every day from week 5 until week 12 or so and so far everything is still ok (knock on wood.)

Praying everything is ok for you!! Let us know how it goes!

 Re: spotting question?? (TMI)
I was 10 weeks when I started spotting and I too was very scared, thankfully it was nothing and I was told it happens a lot. Try not to worry to much- I know easier said than done. I'm sure everything will be ok.

my dr. said that BDing can cause spotting so if u did any of that ...maybe thats it -- I wish that was what it was.
When the Dr. called me back tonight he also told me on the phone to not be intimate- - I was like Ah, yeah no problem with that---( in my head no bd-ing until week 12;- I am too scared to Bd)
THanks for the response, I hven't bd'ed since before we found out

 Re: spotting question?? (TMI)
I had this at my 5 1/2 week mark - but it wasn't pink - it was bright red. And I had no cramping. It ended up being nothing.

 Re: spotting question?? (TMI)
I spotted throughout my entire pregnancy. Some times it was light and other times around week 12-16 it was very heavy. Needless to say, I have a very happy and healthy 7 1/2 month old son. Good luck and I hope it is nothing.

During my first 2 pregnancies I had spotting like you described. During this pregnancy, I had had bleeding 3 times that was as heavy as my period (I thought it was my period) and my pregnancy has gone on well, I'm 28 weeks.

 Re: spotting question?? (TMI)
I had some spotting around the same time too. It scared the $hit out of me, but everything turned out to be just fine. try not to worry, it's very common. i think my doctor said that about half of their patients have some spotting during pregnancy. hope everything looks good on monday
