Mid-suffolk pediatrics Mt sinai
Which dr do you like? I'm having some issues with DD and reflux and not sure I'm happy with who I've been seeing.

We like dr. Laser. I'm not a fan of dr. Manners. He blew off something that dr laser sent us to a specialist for that ended up needed further treatment,

Someone else had recommended Dr. Lasner to me. I may just try to get an appt with her next week for a 2nd opinion. I'm just so frustrated with this reflux or whatever it is. My poor DD is miserable and seems to only be getting worse.

We used the Hauppage office. I liked Dr Lasner, Dr Hofilena, and NP Tracy Manners.

Sadly I have to leave this practice and find a more reputable one. The Doctors were average, but with bad advice from Dr. Selden we got a hefty unnecessary charge for an unnecessary procedure. The desk staff, at the time, one guy and one lady, were making rude comments "in code" about any interracial couple that happened to enter the practice. I should've said something to correct their rude behavior, but I shouldn't have to. On top of that, while their charges for the office visit are in line with other practices, their supplemental charges for the most minor of checks easily triples the bill from what it should be and for anyone, and that includes most people whose insurance includes rising deductibles, this means much more money coming out of your wallet. If they had to tell you what they were charging for each minor check you would be floored and probably realize, just as I have that they are simply taking advantage of the system at your expense. The billing office, when questioned why something that should cost $2 costs $40 states "we can charge whatever we want". Find a more reputable practice.
