Picking seats for Blue Man Group
Any advice? I don't think I want to be right in front in the poncho section but what do you think about the front of the Mezzanine? I saw it about 15 years ago so I dont really remember how much audience participation is involved.
Also, if you have any suggestions as to where's the best place to buy tickets. TIA

I'd go with floor seats right after poncho section or front mezz.
Also you should call the box office to try to get a name or two on the LED display.

Re: Picking seats for Blue Man Group
i have been twice, and it's such a small theater that pretty much any seat is a good seat

Re: Picking seats for Blue Man Group
We've sat in the poncho section twice, it's really not bad. Just sit a few rows back. We sat front row last time to the left and it was fine

Ditto. But front row mezz would be fine, too.

Agreed! I went 2 times also...once closer to the back of the floor level and second time front row mezzanine. Both were great seats because the theater is very small but if I were to go again I'd go for the mezzanine!

There is an LED screen that has a ticker with words, names, jokes, etc. on it before the show starts. I don't want to give too much away, but it's really funny. I always wondered how people got on there!

Re: Picking seats for Blue Man Group
at the astor place?? the rows after the ponchos are cool.
i've aslo sat up in the balcony first row and one of them climbed on me as he came over railing.
you only participate if you want to..they give you streamers to wear so they know you want to be picked. if not, they're good about leaving you alone.
