Recommend ob/gym babylon area
Need to find a new OB/ GYN in the west islip, bayshore, babylon area.... Please recommend yours.
PS: Just not SouthBay OB in West Islip...

Dr Antoniadis. He is right by Good Sam. Delivers at Good Sam and Plainview.
I used to go to SOuth Bay and at 20weeks switched because I could not handle the waits and the staff. The final issue was when they made me wait over 2 hrs in the witing room for my amnio. What was probably on of the most stressful things of my pregnancy they made 10x worse by making me wait and the staff was nasty about it.
Dr A is amazing. He is always there for you no matter what day or time of day. I developed blood clots during my pregnancy and he spent all day on a Saturday at Good Sam with me and making sure I was ok.
My water broke in the middle of the night and I called him not knowing if it was my water or I peed my pants....I actually told him it might just be pee. He laughed and said meet me at Good Sam and we will see. You truly become part of his family when you are patient of his. I never waited for more than 5-10 mins at his office and he never rushes you. I found him through girls on here and can't say enough good things about him.

This. My poor sense of south shore geography prevented me from saying this to begin with...he truly is amazing

OMG South Bay is the WORST, besides Dr. Judge. The wait times, the office staff, so many things about them are horrible. I have heard great things about Comprehensive. I live in the area and went to South Bay for DS#1 but switched to the Stony Brook Midwives for #2. They have an Islip Terrace office. I was about a 25-30 min drive from Amityville but well worth it. Best decision I ever made and will keep using them for my check ups. I delivered at Stony Brook this time around instead of Good Sam but even though it was farther the hospital was way better in my eyes.
