Bounce U - age question
My sister is taking my nephew and 5 or so friends to an open play at Bounce U for his 5th birthday. She told me to bring DD but she's only 21 mos old and I'm wondering if she's too young/small to play there. She's big for her age - the same size as my 3 yr old nephew who will be there. Just not sure if I should waste my time and my sisters $ to bring her. She's around 35 inches - but will it not be safe for her to be playing with the bigger kids?
TIA!

Re: Bounce U - age question
My daughter loves it there! I've been taking her there since 15 months.
Take her if you are prepared to go down the slides and such with her. She wont be able to do most of the inflatables by herself.
There are 2 small bouncys that she can go in by herself.

Re: Bounce U - age question
Tough to answer for that age. It really depends on the child. My son is 29 mos and won't go on anything like that and my DD was pretty shy about it too until she hit like 3 yrs old. I'd say there might be more of a psychological issue to it than a size issue. It is also tough for them to be mixed in with all older kids. I wouldn't do open play but might do a bday party where it wouldn't be as crowded and the kids would be nicer b/c they're family and friends, kwim?

gotcha - thanks! I think my DD would be ok - she loves to play with the bigger kids I just don't want her getting hurt. I'll have to think about it some more.

I took my DD to the one in Oceanside and she had just turned 20 months. Honestly it's not worth it, you have to do all the bouncy houses with them except for 1. And it's not easy to hold a toddler while climbing up into the house for them to slide down. I am pregnant and I had my brother take her on everything, he's 20.
I would say it's more for 3 years and up. I did it that one time to see if it was worth it and I won't be taking her back. It is fun but for older kids.

Def skip it! Pregnant women aren't even allowed according to the warning labels on the bouncy houses. I'm pregnant with twins and was so glad I brought my younger brother along.

Re: Bounce U - age question
I started taking jack at that age..maybe a little younger, give or take a month. he was a little intimidated at first, but he loves it now at 2.5
they do a preschool playdate at our Bounce U for that specific age group and it works well for us. i think your DD will be fine.
