$400 for a coach bag from the regular store a long time ago. After having kids I just cannot justify an expensive bag when I still have to carry sippy cups. My bags - which I carry for a long time (a year or two) are about 250 or less.

The most I've spent is on an LV Mahina - it ended up being $3.5K and I'll never buy another bag in that price range again. I swore it would be my one and only....
Now I have my eye on an Chanel...but I can't pull the trigger.

around $400 for a Kate Spade bag...But if i could do the over $1000 range I sure would!Unfortunately with a mortgage and two kids to provide for i have to sacrifice

about 750 on an lv..i actually have the same bag in 2 colors..
i have a few lvs, so my next thing i'm eyeing is a pair of CL shoes..however, now that we have a mortgage it may be awhile

All of the Guccis & Fendis I have were gifts. My Dad started me on designer bags, when I was 12 he brought my first Gucci back from a trip he took to Europe and that became a tradition.
I'm much more frugal than my Dad LOL I don't like paying full price for anything and even high end bag styles change so I can't justify spending over $500 for a bag. I use large tote styles for work and I don't want to stress about them getting torn or dirty so I usually get them from the Coach or MK or D&B outlet.

You missed my price range - $100-$250
My ex bought me a D&B bag from QVC for $150. He was trying to impress me.
I have only spent about $60. I use the same bag every day and I'm not to gentle on them and get about 2 a year. Spring/summer; fall/winter. Unsually in the $30 range

I think I may have spent as much as $300 on a bag at one time but never more than that.
Anything more expensive than $300 needs to be an appliance of some sort, or a car or a piece of furniture, otherwise the thought of spending that much makes me anxious.
