I stayed 3 nights. They told me I could have stayed another night but I wanted to go home.

Had my DS on Thursday at 1pm and was outta there on Sat morning....Hated my hospital stay and got zero rest so I wanted to leave as soon as they would let me. I had a c-section

Had a c/s on Friday night and was released Tuesday night 5 days/4 nights. BUT the docs kept me longer because my DD was in NICU and they wanted to keep me as long as possible that the insurance would pay, so we could go home together.

I had a vbirth. DD was born just after midnight on Thursday and we were discharged Saturday morning. If she had popped out before midnight, it would've been Friday!
2 days for a vbirth no complications here.

dd- 5 days (she was in nicu, stayed as long as I could to be with her)
ds- 3 days

Vaginal birth
Gave birth @ 3:54 PM on Thursday & left late Saturday night.
I would have left Saturday morning, but my son ended up having to stay in NICU for a week, so I wanted to stay as long as posible to be with him.

i went in at 3:00 a.m. monday morning, gave birth 7 pm monday night
went home wed morning (despite my asking to stay another day since i was terrified to go home!)
i believe the normal practice is 2 days for vaginal birth, 3-5 for c-section

I went in on a Friday morning and started the inducing process that afternoon, baby was born Sunday morning 2:29am, I went home late Tuesday night (They let you stay as long as you want on d/c day (Winthrop) and my baby was in the NICU so I stayed as late as possible.

3 nights for a c-section. My ds is in NICU, so I tried to stay longer, but they said no.

I had an emergency c-section I would have been there 4 days, but I was put back on IV drugs for a night so I was there 5 days

I was induced on a Thursday night at 9pm, had the baby on Friday at 4:30pm, left hospital on Monday around 11:30am. They said I could have stayed until Tuesday since I had a C-section, but I hated being there and couldn't wait to go home!

I was induced on a Friday, delivered vaj on Sat morning and stayed for 4 days afterwards!
This was bc I had complications (high BP and Spinal Migraine) and I felt like a prisoner by day 4. I did not know how good I had it there until I was sent home to fend for myself and I still had my migraine and jaundiced baby.

4 nights for my c section. They were ready to release me after 3, but my insurance covered 4, and the best advice all my friends and family gave me was to stay as long as possible and get sleep at night - let the baby sleep in the nursery. I did.
