WAY TMI (don't open if eating) Updated with what my stupid husband thinks.
I am bleeding out my butt. I am finishing up my first trimester, so how much worse is this going to get?
I have been eating at LEAST 100-200% of the daily recommended fiber everyday. (Not supplement, but in my actual food) Am I eating too much? If so, then why the hell can't I poop??!?!?!?! Did I block this part of my first pregnancy out?
Can I just go to sleep and wake up in 6 months?

First off, thanks for "if eating" warning, because I was and was about to click on it, until I read that. Now that I am done..lol
I, luckily did not have any problems with that in my first trimester, or even yet. Is the bleeding because of hemmoroids? Do you find it difficult to go to the bathroom? I know friends who were put on medication to loosen stool to help.

I, luckily did not have any problems with that in my first trimester, or even yet. Is the bleeding because of hemmoroids? Do you find it difficult to go to the bathroom? I know friends who were put on medication to loosen stool to help.
I assume it is. I don't feel anything, but I know I am having trouble pooping. I called the dr to see what else I can do because this can get embarrassing. Am I supposed to wear a butt maxi pad?

If you eat too much fiber, it has the opposite effect and backs you up. Do you think you could be over doing the fiber? How is your water intake? That helps to get things moving too.

i have to agree, to bleed out of you butthole to the point where you think you need to wear maxi pad, is not normal.

My dr isn't open today, so they said I would get a call back tomorrow. It appears to have stopped. The nurse I talked to made mention of what I should call the emergency line for if things get worse. (I will spare you all those details.  )

i have to agree, to bleed out of you butthole to the point where you think you need to wear maxi pad, is not normal.
My bad! It isn't that bad. More pantinliner. I would just be nervous to be at work and suddenly bleed through. Obviously, that is an emergency situation. I am trying to prevent that from happening.

My husband just told me that I shouldn't have told the dr I was bleeding out of my butt and to be more gentle with my approach. I asked if I should've said 'rectal bleeding' and he said that i should've just told the doctor my belly hurts. 
What the hell is wrong with him? My belly doesn't even hurt!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, just asked my friend because the same thing happened to her last month. She said she was backed up for awhile then took a big poop and was bleeding for a few days after. Turns out that she ripped herself a bit. She saw a dr who gave her hydro cortisone suppositories.

my hubby had this once. not be be gross but he freaked and made me look in the toilet and it literally looked like he had his period.
it was hemmoriods wa y up inside...so it DOES happen unfortunately.

256 oz of water is also an insane (and I would think deadly) amount of water. and there is a such a thing as too much fiber.
I don't think you have to go through such exaggerated measures to get what you need.
maybe you are thinning out your blood by drowning your organs in H2O thereby making you more prone to bleeding too!
hemi's suck. I popped one after I had my son. sorry you are going through this.

No I don't think it should be leaking at all. If you push, then I get it, but I would considered it an emergency if you are leaking.

I always have drank a ton of water, at least a gallon per day, along with my diet Pepsi and wine. Now that I don't drink anything else, it's all water. Doctors know all about it.

I would say hemmoroids or anal fissure. Both can cause rectal bleeding and lots of discomfort. My friend gets fissures and they are painful. My mom get it from hemoroids and the description she gives sounds similar to you. She blames us kids. I guess 4 very large kids can do that to a woman. I would call your ob emergency line to see what you can take to help or if you need to go to gastro.

I bled like this once and had my OB paged. I wasembarrased to find out it was only hemorrhoids. 
This happened shortly after I had my sister's chili (never again!) and tapered off within a couple of days. I also took benefiber to ease my BM for the week.
My personal cure for constipation is drinking milk since I am slightly lactose intolerant.

With my last pregnancy, i got VERY constipated and when i went, the hemmroids were unbelievable and would bleed. I took a shot of prune juice (which is completely DISGUSTING) and was able to go by later on that day, next day tops with no problems. So far, knock on wood, it's not bad this pregnancy. Good luck!!!

i thought there are some prenatals that include a little laxative in them.... might need to switch the prescription.
watermelon is suppose to be a natural lax. too.
