Bedroom Furniture Color
DH & I found out we are having a girl in July and I am seriously considering an antique white bedroom set. We are looking to get those lifetime cribs that convert into full size beds. Do you think though that as the child gets older, say 10 or 11 the white will still be babyish or a problem. Anyone grow up with an antique white bedroom set? My DS has a redish brown set so it there was no question there.

Re: Bedroom Furniture Color
I grew up with white furniture and so did my sister and 2 female cousins. I think it looks nice.

Re: Bedroom Furniture Color
I was team so we got dark wood, we ended up with a and I WISH we got white, I love it for a girl. When we have the next if it is a girl we will get her white, if not, we will give the dark wood to the boy and get DD a new bedroom set. Oh, one more thing, the dark wood shows ALL THE DUST! I cannot stand it!
