Know its early, but for those who rented bouncers for parties, a question

So we are going to be hosting DS#2's Christening probably in July. (he is due in 30 days!!!)

With that said, since now we'd have like 12+ little ones 2 and up, including our DS who will be 3.5, we are going to get a bouncer (I saw a farm one, its not too high, no fancy slides, but has trees, little slides, etc. PLUS its perfect for my under 2 crowd too!!! Plus the price I was quoted wasn't bad, but my question (as the party will be in parents yard with a tent)

1. do the companies come usually early enough to set up and late enough to take down? Since its a backyard party people may hang out longer than norm

2. did you think it was worth it? Its about $250-$300 BUT my DS isn't the sit-down and color kid, and honestly, to have him out of my hair and put the attention on the new baby, DS#2, seems worth it in-itself

3. if you did have a bouncer, did you let people with kids know upfront so they bring socks and more "play clothes" since it still is a christening party?

We would be coming from church in our sunday best.

Ds2 christening was also in July and we did a big back yard party.
We rented a bounce house and a snow cone machine and the bounce house was a hit! I am beyond happy that we got it and will probably rent one for ds2 first birthday.

To answer your questions they came and set up around 8 I want to say and they didn't come back to get it til 9 ( we live right around the corner from the place)

As for the clothes I didn't mention anything to anyone about the bounce house just the pool. The kids were fine with what they had on.

TY for posting - I too was thinking f renting one for DD - Its the 3rd birthday - I wont have many kids at all - BUT you know I did look at Toys r us and for that price you can buy one...

I am thinking of going that route....

i had one for dd's baptism last summer and it was a humongous hit! the company should give itself enough before and after time, they will tell you what their procedure is. i was lucky to rent it 4th of july weekend and no one must've wanted the design i requested bc they let me keep it all weekend. it was awesome. everyone loved it and it got DD so tired...double yay! lol. i didn't mention anything to anyone, everyone still got in there with whatever they did (or didn't) have on.
