how do you organize these baby items?

so i have been separating clothes due to age.

but now my question is this...when you put them in drawers how does it work?

i have sooo many outfits that match...ie. onsie and jacket and pants.....do i keep them together or do i make one whole drawer onsies...one drawer pants?

i dont want to run around trying to find matching outfits yet.... it seems to me if i hang everything that is an "outfit" there wont be much in the dressers.

help!! tia

oh and ps..where do i find the hangers with the clips for pants? i saw some at bru but it was 3 bucks for two hangers tia!!!

I would put pants in one draw, onsies in the other either with the jackets or I would hand the jackets. Try looking for hangers in the dollar stores. Not sure about the ones with the clips, but I have bought kids hangers there before.

Re: how do you organize these baby items?

I just wondering the same thing as I started organizing everything the other day!! Im a pretty organized person so I sat there stumped. I ended up putting everything in piles by size on the floor. Then onesies, pants and PJs went in drawers. Everythig else, like hoodies, vests, etc got hung up in size order. I worried too about outfits that specifically go together but i figured I'll just do my best to remember what goes with what and also realized that many onesies will go with lots of the pants that are part of a specific outfit. Hope this helps! Chat Icon

For sets I fold the onesies and the pants on top of each other. Then I place them inside the jacket vest or whatever. Zip it up and in the drawer it goes. When he is getting dressed I just have to grab the bundle and we are good to go. I have nothing hanging.

I have all my 3 month clothes in a drawer. They all fit in one drawer and when he gets to the next size I will swap them out. The other drawers are just storage now and not organized.

In the one drawer I have things organized by onezie shirts pants undershirts etc

Re: how do you organize these baby items?

I organized DS#1's this way and did the same this time with DS#2.

3 drawers
top: onesies
middle: pjs
bottom: pants

hanging in closet are outfits and non-play onesies.

In baskets on a bookcase:
- socks and gloves
- hats, caps
- bibs

on the shelves in the changing table
- blankets
- changing pad covers
- extra pjs (we have a ton)

as far as hangers go i reccomed when you buy an outfit ask for it on a hanger.. if not maybe look on amazon for cheep hangers but i only hang fancy outfits and clothing in bigger size then she is currently wearing

for her dresser which is 3 large drawersL:
-first draw has speraters creating 3 smallers draws wear i have onesies white, then socks, then all other onsies
-second draw: out fits in her size i place matcing outfits together
-third draw pjs stechies, one piece outfits and sleep sacks

her closet also has built in shelving where i keep all out her accesories, target has really cute plastic bins with lids (,inexpensive)thats what i use

also i know you didnt ask but i hang my bibs on a large belt hanger hey all fit and they are ourganize
