Not sure yet. I would like to try for a third but DS is pretty set on just having two. I think he would agree if I really wanted a third. I'm waiting till my oldest is in school full time though. I don't want three at home all day.

You are not alone. I think about this all the time! DH would prefer to have only two. I would like three. I just can't imagine my life without three children in it (a far cry from when we first got married and I didn't want any ). I know that if I really wanted three, he would come around...no doubt in my mind.

As some others have said, I too am tired. I put a lot of time/energy/effort into DS. I am already worried I won't have enough to go around once #2 makes an appearance. For me, there really is no point in even thinking about it. I am waiting to see how #2 will be before I make a final decision. If the next one is a real pisser - I will be done! However, if he/she is as good as my first, I can easily see myself having another.

Adding to this is the fact that I honestly don't like being pregnant. It is hard to admit this because I know there are so many that have a difficult time with this But it's the truth even though both my pregnancies have been great with no issues or concerns. I don't know if I want to go through with this again.

Bottom line is, we're going to wait on the next one. If we do go for #3, it will be a good 3-4 years from now. I think you are young and you have so much time! See how things go with #2 and then decide...

We have discussed this at great length and have always decided that we wanted 2 kids. We want our daughter to have a sibling so that she has a companion in life forever, but we don't want to stretch ourselves too thin with money, time, attention, etc.

Now I am 4.5 weeks away from my scheduled c-section and feeling sad about the fact that I'll never be pregnant again. And we are great parents, I know that for sure, and I know that we'd do a fantastic job of raising a 3rd child, and we'd make it work with less money, time, etc.

But that being said...I cna't go back on what we've always discussed. Maybe it is my pregnancy emotions getting the best of me?

we may want 3. THis is why we went with the first 2 15 months apart....we are going to see how it goes and in 2 years we may try with for a 3rd...but who knows

I think I want a 3rd. I always wanted 4 because its an even number but I'm the oldest of 3 and I like at least that dynamic. DH would have as many kids as I wanted since I'm a SAHM its mostly up to me to be with them most of the time anyway. He's the youngest of 4. I don't want the 3rd to be born until my oldest was at least in kindergarten which won't be until 2015 anyway.

We plan on having 3. I definitely don't feel like I'm done.

I always wanted 3 and DH always wanted 2, but he also said that nothing was set in stone. After miscarriages and miserable, stressful pregnancies, I am not so sure anymore! If somebody else could have #3 for me then I would be all for it. I may just be happy with Me, DH and my boys!

we both wanted 3 when we got married. DS1's pregnancy wasn't difficult just stressful.

Now with DS2, its been 1 complication after another. Previa, high blood pressure, complete bedrest, etc.

So we both feel that we are done. My body doesn't seem to want to cooperate. lol

Oh this is a tough question! I aways said two and dh says 2 as well. A third is always a possibility since Im still young at 28. If we do have a third it will not be until three to four years after DD number 2 arrives! We will see

i am pregnant with #2 and when this baby is born, my DD will be almost 2.5years old. i just can't imagine this being the last time i am pregnant or this will be my last newborn. having a third is up in the air for us as a couple because we haven't decided yes or no for sure, but i would definitely like to have another one!! hell i'd go for 4 if we could afford it!

I always wanted 3-4. DH is fine with 2. I'm not sure..I had a rough labor & recover with DD going to see how it goes this time around.

I kind of always felt I would be content with two. Well #2 will be here in July when I am 41. It is a little bittersweet to think that this will be the last but with having some difficulty getting pregnant with #2 I will be done. I want to return to the workforce before I am 50 and do not think I could handle more that 2 in college at the same time! Last, with being 40+ I don't even think I want to go through the stress of being pregnant again in my 40's.

I always wanted 4 but we started late so I could possible squeeze in #3 before 40 but I keep saying we'll see how we do with 2 first. #1 was such a good boy that i'm terrified of what this one will be like.

We've never really said we're going to have X amount of kids. After we had #2 we were pretty sure that we were done. Well #3 will be here come the end of September. So I guess we changed our minds at some point.

I am 95% sure that we are done after this one - DC #2.
DH is 110% positive he is done after this one, but I just cant close the door completely on the idea of a third just yet.

If I'm having a girl (only11weeks) I'm definitely done. But If i have another boy... we might try for a girl.
But this MS is kicking my ass real bad this time. I dunno if I can do this again!
