How much to give for a 1st birthday
Hi Ladies,
You guys are very quick with your responses and are super helpful so I was wondering how much would you give for a coworker's first baby birthday?
I dont want to give too little but I also dont want to go over the top! She is asking guests to give to her daughter's college fund.

Depending on how close I was to the coworker, I would give $25-50. I would give more if it were family.

depending on how close you are I would not give less than 50. I would give more if you are closer.

I would say 50 if it was a friends baby 100 for family. I feel like its rude to ask for money at a bday party IMO. I would bring a toy for the bday child along with money.

for a first bday i always spend about 50-100 (50 for friends 100 for family)
