DR RUBIN!!!
As a ped dietitian I have met a lot of the MD's and I have to say she is amazing!!! Voted top ped. in long island.
My 2 kids were very sick around xmas and as she said "You know I am not a fan of antibiotics, but they both need it". I left another good practice to drive 40 min to her..and I don't regret it for a second.
After my kids were sick, she called to check on them twice...no one has ever done that for my kids before..she really does truly care about her patients.
Anyway...
Other good ones in the area are:
Dr. Cadet - Carle Place
Dr. Jassey - Bellmore
Dr Lanzilotta - Bellmore

Crashing! I take DD to Bellmore-Merrick Pediatrics (Dr. Jassey's practice). I see Dr. Beharry. We found them through a recommendation from another LIF mom and have been very happy.

we see dr. jonathan jassey and i couldn't love him more. their office is so efficient, i have always been able to get an appt whenever i want despite how busy they are. i love that they are open 7days a week. i love that if my DD is sick, someone who is familiar with her will be seeing her, not some strange doctor who is covering. seriously can not love him more!

I'm going with Dr. Jassey in Bellmore. My sister and all my friends go there and have nothing but good things to say about it. They also have a monthly class for new parents where you can tour the office and ask any questions you have. I'm skipping it because my sis made me go with her when she was pregnant, but I found it to be really helpful.

Glad to hear the good reviews about Bellmore-Merrick Pediatrics. I have to start looking for a ped., and they are literally a minute from our house. If we like the practice, it will be so convenient!
