At what age do you stop giving baby oatmeal?
And/or rice cereal?

You don't really have to start.
We stopped when DD went to finger foods.

I still give it to DD sometimes for breakfast and she is 21 months.
But we stopped giving it daily when she started table food.

DD likes it mixed with some fruit for breakfast sometimes- and she is 19 months.
Not every day but she does enjoy it
And I really like the iron content in it since she is a horrendous eater

DS is 21 months and he stills loves baby oatmeal so I mix it with organic fruit for breakfast. Like NervousNell said I really like that its such a great source of iron....so I keep giving it to him

We gave it to ds well past 2. We would mix it up w puréed fruit, and hard boiled egg on the side. So many vitamins in that cereal.
Now he eats quick cook oats (w blueberries cooked in it) w HB egg
We never gave rice cereal bc my inlaws made the boys a rice porridge when they were babies.

We are going to stop at one year... but he will get regular oatmeal occasionally after that.

I never bothered with the baby oatmeal--I put regular oats I eat in the food processor when she was really young and then started giving her the whole oats around 8 months or so. She still eats a bowl of that for breakfast a few times a week.

I still give it to DS. He is 19 months. He loves it. I put fresh fruit in it or mix it with fruit purees.
