My DS will be 18 months on Friday. His dr keeps saying that his circ is fine, that extra skin is normal because we will need it when he grows but it's SO much skin, so much so that not only do we need to pull it back to clean it but it sags. It looks bad, even my MIL agreed that it wasn't normal. I need to go get a second opinion and I really want to get it fixed sooner than later.

That being said...we are having a second DS next month and I don't think I want him to be circ in the hospital even though I have a different ob this time around I just don't want to chance having to go through this again. We do want him circumcised but what are our options? I have heard amazing things about mohels but we aren't Jewish, would they still do this for us? What about going right to a ped urologist after he is born? If so, how soon after he is born should we do this and will insurance still cover this?
