How to get my kid into her crib

So, I finally got a crib for my 10 month old daughter. (Couldn't earlier b/c we were in an apt where a crib didn't fit, & when she grew out of the bassinette, we started having her sleep in bed with us... and still do). I'm so nervous about putting her in the crib: she HATES the pack 'n' play...screams as soon as I put her in, until I take her out...even with toys. Same with a play yard.

Anyone go through this around this age & have some advice? (I'm really tired of hearing from ppl who never went through this, telling me how tough it's going to be... I know!).
