How long did your baby wear size Newborn diapers?
Since my first was a preemie, I'm not sure how long a full term baby wears newborn diapers.
Basically just trying to figure out how many newborn size diapers I will need. Is a pack of 140 enough? Too little? Too many?

My twins were in newborn diapers for about 5 weeks. They were born 5lbs 12oz and 6lbs 2oz.

You will need them for about 5-7 weeks I would think depending on how big they are.

My DD is 7 weeks and is still in them! We are finishing up our 3rd box of 96...she was 6 lbs at birth and probably 7.5 lbs now!
So i think it all depends on size of your DC

DS was 7.7 at birth, wore newborns for 2-3 weeks
DD was 6.7 at birth and wore newborns for about 3 weeks max..
i would NOT stock up on newborns.... get size 1 and roll them over

My guy never wore newborns, he started in size one and was in them a few months.
Same here, my DS went straight into size 1. (He was born 9lb 4oz) Couldn't use the NB size outfit I brought to the hospital either.

My kids used newborn sized diapers until they were one or two weeks old then they moved into size 1. I think I bought the smallest pack of newborn size diapers and then a jumbo box of size one.

Such a big range of time!
Ok so if I estimate the number of diapers needed per week, do you think it's fair to say 8-10 diapers a day for the first month? So around 60-70 diapers a week, yes?
If so, I'm guessing one pack of 140 Newborn size diapers should be ok and then we can switch to size 1.

My DD was 9lbs, so she was in NB diapers for like 2 weeks, then went to size 1. They put her in size 1 in the hospital too.

My DD was 8lb 2.5oz at birth and she wore newborn for the first month.
ETA: I notice that at the hospital they used pampers size 1.

With my Preemie we were in new born diapers forever.
With my other 2 full term babies we basically used up 1 box of the big boxes of newborn diapers then went to size 1. The hospitals use size 1 and they fit when theyre first born.

DD was in newborn for like a little over a month. I kept expecting her to grow out of them so I kept only buying smaller packages.
140 seems like a good place to start

i had one small pack of newborn diapers given to me i used that up in about a week or less and then went straight to size ones. At the hosiptal they put her in newborn and size for the week she was there.

DS #1 was in newborn diapers 2 weeks. he was 8lbs 6ozs when he was born.
DS #2, he went right into size one, he was 9lbs 8 ozs when he was born.
