contractions and sharp occasional pains?
is this 'normal' for someone that's around 35 weeks?
the contractions my OB said were normal and that i'd get them until i delivered...however i've been starting to get some sharp pains in the lower abdominal area but they come and go.

I responded in the parenting board but I am feeling the same thing. I spoke to my doctor about this because I am towards the end too and she said it's normal and the baby is putting more pressure and that's why we are getting the pains.

35 wks and i have this too! i think it's round ligament pain because baby is putting on the pounds now and stretching everything.
