Re: Great insight on SAHM and FTWM
Thanks for sharing that!
I know no matter what I did I would be one to have Mommy Guilt. I work and I feel bad sometimes - but if I stayed home - when I did when I was on maternity leave - I felt bad b/c I am not eveything I feel like I should be. But that's just me anyway.
Made me teary (I'm having a bad week - so pretty much everything does right now) but I do think the most important message of the whole thing is that we need to support each other and not judge with "I have it harder then you!!" "I give up more then you!!" I am better then you!!" Those kinds of attitudes really don't help anything.
That's my take.

Re: Great insight on SAHM and FTWM
I think this is great- goes a long way for helping us understand each other and hopefully support each other.
No matter what any of us do, we just want the best for our kids

Re: Great insight on SAHM and FTWM
I can agree with her!! I was both a SAHM and now a FTWM..
Whats important is fufilling your goals and being a mother at the same time. Everyone is different and have different goals.. What important is accepting others needs and points of view. IMO

Great article!
Best of luck to you! No it won't be easy, but you'll make it and so will your LO. Just know that you are doing what is best for you family and your family alone. You will make the best of it!!

Re: Great insight on SAHM and FTWM
I have been on both sides too.
When I was a FTWM.....I HATED it with a fiery passion because I hated the job I had All I wanted to do was be home to be a better Mommy.
Then I was let go from the job I hated because my Mommy Guilt had me screwing up at work And I hated myself for getting fired for not being a good employee because I was trying to hard to be a good Mommy.
I was home for 10 months and minus the $$$$ stresses (DH was laid off 2 months after me ) I loved every second of it!! But it was D A M N hard staying home
Now that I am back to work and work in a really great environment I can't see being anything other then a FTWM for now!!
Granted....if DH hits the jackpot with a great job someday (he is still unemployeed) I would try to be a PTWM!! I love what I do!!
