Big Brother Gift
DH's cousin has a 4 year old son, she is expecting a in March! DH has always been close to this cousin (small family) so we're probably sending a gift card to Babies R Us and I may go a little nutty on Etsy and get head bands and hats and a few outfits of course.
Anyway, what is something other than a Big Brother shirt I can get their son??? I want to give something kind of generous....
I'd love to get her a gift certificate for a photo shoot, but I don't want to spend $500+....I can't be THAT generous!
Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Re: Big Brother Gift
For the older siblings I like activity type stuff. Coloring books with a whole art set books playdoh
Sounds like you're being pretty generous for the family and anything additional I'm sure will be very appreciated
When DS2 was born in July DS1 got a ton of activity books and lots of stuff for outside (since it was the summer).

Re: Big Brother Gift
I would get him puzzles, art stuff, or a toy that he can play with on his own while the mom tends to the new baby. When DD was born two people also sent presents for DS and I really appreciated that they did that.

Re: Big Brother Gift
Big brother books
I thought many of my friends were very generous with gift cards. They were equal or more generous with the second child as my baby shower for my first child. For the first child, they bought a gift off my registry. For the second child, I got gift cards. They would give me a gift card with a small gift like onesies, bibs, singalong dolls, etc.
