Im a little upset with DH-Am I overreacting?
DH and I just bought life insurance last week. They need to do bloodwork to make sure we are as healthy as we say we are. So they guy says he can come Sunday and DH tells him that's fine. It would be fine if it wasn't my birthday! Who the hell would want to get blood drawn on their birthday. I wanted to go out and do some things on Sunday especially because the damn Giants game is on so we can't do anything once the game starts. Plus being pregnant there is not a lot of celebrating I can do so I wanted to go out and have a nice day doing all the things i want to do and now they all have to wait and I may not get to them because they are not coming until 11. The earliest next appointment is like in a week or two but the insurance guy was really pushing for Sunday. Am I overreacting?

If you don't want to do it that day, don't do it. Just reschedule. The insurance guy doesn't dictate when you get this done.

The bloodwork can easily be switched to another date...I would simply call the guy myself and ask for a few days later. They WILL be able to accommodate you, and no, i don't blame you for not wanting bloodwork done that day!

I'd reschedule. Just because the insurance guy was pushing for that day doesn't mean you have to agree. I wouldn't want to get up early to wait for an insurance person to draw my blood

i guess i'd be the odd one out, but i would just do it that day and get it over with, but as them to come earlier or later, so that you have time in the morning to get your stuff done and then have the rest of the afternoon free

Agreed. The test itself really doesn't take long at all anyway.
