Talk to me about convertible car seats

I'm stuck deciding between a Britax and the Safety 1st Complete Air 65.

If you have a Britax, which one do you have or which one would you suggest? I'm thinking I want one that goes up to 70lbs.

If you have the Safety 1st, do the air pads annoy your DC? I would imagine DD would want to look around and those seem like they'll block her view.

And for both, how difficult is it to adjust the harness height? Does the entire seat need to come out?

TIA!

I have the Britax Boulevard 70 CS.
You don't have to rethread or take the seat out to adjust harness height- it has a lever that you pull up on and it slides right up.
Amazing.
SO easy.

I have 4 of the Britax Boulevard's and just bought another yesterday at BRU and got 20% off of it with free shipping.

We love these car seats, they are so easy to use.

If those are your two final choices, go with the Britax.

If you want to look at more, add in the Graco MyRide and the First Years True Fit.

Also, important to note that most kids outgrow 5 pt harness seats by height before weight, so look for a seat with a tall top harness setting.

That's one of my concerns. I saw the Britax goes to 49 inches. DD is 27 inches at 6 months. I think she will be very tall and want something that will last. Are there good seats that go past 49 inches?
