May Mommy Question

At 21 weeks weeks are you condidered to be in your 5th month?

Sometimes people ask how many months I am..and I'm not exactly sure how it works.

Re: May Mommy Question

I finally resigned to going by 4 weeks = month (even though that's not really accurate). It was just easier that way, plus people usually give me a blank stare when I give the number of weeks. So I'd say you're 5 months.

Re: May Mommy Question

You have completed 5 months but are in your 6th month. I am in my 23rd week so I just tell people I am in my 6th month.

Re: May Mommy Question

If you are 21 weeks, you have completed five months of pregnancy and are starting your 6th month...

Re: May Mommy Question

yeah i agree but for others who dont understand i would just say i hit 5 months.

for example this thursday i will be 24 weeks. so i say i am 6 months.
at 25 weeks i will say i am 6 months one week.
yeah we are IN our 7thmonth but to explain that to non preggos gets reallly confusing

Re: May Mommy Question

I'm 23 weeks and I say I'm 5 1/2 months or almost 6 months. When I reach 24 weeks, I'll say I'm 6 months.

I find it easiest just to go by the 4 weeks = 1 month. When you reach 9 months, you still have 4 weeks to go if you go by this rule.

Re: May Mommy Question

I have always gone by this chart. I think it makes the most sense:
