I'm out on the North Fork, so as east as they come! Chat Icon I dont' want to deliver at the hospitals near me though,... honestly I'd prefer Stony Brook but my perinatologist doesn't have rights there (Though I'm trying to find an OB willing to work with him that would help in the event I was ever admitted). Chat Icon So pretty much anywhere in Suffolk County to start with. Chat Icon

Re: Eastern Suffolk girls, who is your OB?

She is in East Setuaket at University Associates. It is a huge practice and there are a few doctors there that I have heard great things about. Dr. Melissa Strafford is wonderful I heard and there is this other woman, Dr. Natalie Semenyuk who is great (no nonsense but great) I have heard. My friend who has a daughter that is in the MR population sees her..
There are high risk doctors (I know you have a sensitive case) but I am not sure which are those in the group. Any other questions ..feel free!

the number is 444-4686
Wheverever you go, I wish you lots of Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon and hope these months are awesome.

I will be delivering at St. Catherine's in Smithtown,

and my doctor is Dr. Amorin from Women's Health Professionals, located at the St.Catherine's medical center (which is right next to the hospital)

I also see Dr. Gentilesco there, he actually delivered ME 26 years ago!!!

They're awesome.

I see Dr. Porte, he has locations in Rocky Point, Setauket and Sayville. He delivers at Stony Brook. I highly recommend him, Dr Okeefe and Dr. Lochner in that practice.

I go to Suffolk OB & Gynecology and my Doctor is Dr. Lagrano (he is great!). For me I needed a place that had late hours because i couldn't take off of work. They have offices in port jeff, patchogue, wading river and smithtown. They deliver at st. charles (i can't say enough positive things about st. charles as well). I had my baby last month and it was a c section (the incision healed nicely and I can barely see the scar). I hope that helps!!

Re: Eastern Suffolk girls, who is your OB?

we are currently TTC.
I live in Riverhead and see Hamptons Gynecology. They deliver at Southampton Hospital. Southampton's maternity ward is totally brand new with huge beautiful birthing rooms and upon deliver you get a gorgeous private room. My best friend just delivered there a month ago, as have 3 of my other close friends and they are rave about Hamptons OBGYN and the hospital and can not say enough good things about it. I've never heard of anyone having a bad experience there.

Same here. I can rave all day about St. Charles. I was very happy with Suffolk OB as well. I saw a couple different drs in the practice and was happy with all of them. Dr. Shreiber delivered DD 8 months ago and I was very happy with him.
