Oct/Nov Babies
Did any of your DC's get their birth certificate and social security card yet? I called on 12/30 to ask, and said its been sent to the county..  since DD's birth which was over 8 weeks ago. My friends who had babies, all had got their stuff within 6 weeks..

I think we got ours about two weeks after his birth on Oct 18th. I sent the BC and live birth form back for spelling errors and we already recieved the corrected copies back. This is from Town of Oyster Bay. I delvered at North Shore Plainview. ETA they sent my paperwork in, I gave it to them the morning I was leaving.

DS was born on 10/6 and we received the BC and SS card within three weeks. Born at North Shore, live in Queens (not sure that matters). 8 weeks seems like a long time

My dd was born end of Sept, and we got it within 2 weeks. It was very fast. We got her SS first, and then a few days after the birth certificate.
That's strange you didn't' get it yet.

I called Winthrop this morning and they said I should get it this week. Its just do odd..they keep saying its because of the holidays..ugh

yes we had ss card w/in 2 weeks, birth cert just shy of 30 days (nyc office of birth stuff)
