When I went out with my dog before (under the backyard awning) my dog started blowing away.
He's only 5lbs and it was really scary - although now thinking about it I guess it was kind of comical.

Huge gust just now!!! Luckily we're in a valley, so we miss the bulk of the wind, and the new half of the house can handle a powerful hurricane.....

We had to drive home today from my parents' house (~3 hours) in this gross weather. I hate driving in bad weather - last year around this time of year I got into an accident on a rainy day when my tire blew out - totaled my car. Since then, I am very apprehensive driving in bad weather.
