How to care for baby if your sick? HELP!

So DH and I both have sore throats... I think it may be seasonal allergies (got cold, then warm I often get allergies when that happens so does DH)

If we DO BOTH have a cold..what the heck do we do in regards to our 11w old son?!?!

Will he get sick automatically?? any steps we can take to try to avoid him getting sick??

First off... sorry you guys are sick and hopefully you feel better soon

Also, just b/c you're sick does NOT mean the baby will get sick
*Since it's been mild out try and open some windows. Get the germs out
*wash everything - sheets, clothes, towels, etc
*make sure to keep washing your hands. Especially b4 picking up the baby
*try not to touch his face too much
*disinfect stuff in your house especially the phone, switches, etc that you touch all the time
*load up on C's

DO you BF? I know if you are sick and BF helps the baby so the LO doesn't get sick.
I didn't BF with DS1, but he never got sick when myself or DH did since we kept every precaution

I'm a germ nut so I follow the rules above. Even if you didn't washing your hands is key and try not to handle stuff that goes in the baby's mouth too much like the bottle nipples (use a papertowel to touch it), teething rings, etc
