6 week post partum appt

DH has come with me to all my OB appts. He even came with me to my 2 week post partum appt for my OB to check on my c-section incision (which was fine).

My OB told me to come back in 4 weeks which would be my final appt. to close out the pregnancy (bittersweet :sad2). I know he mentioned I'd have a breast exam, but can't remember what else. I'm assuming we'll talk about birth control?

Anyway, did your DH go with you to your appt? If it matters, he wants to come with me.

my dr did an internal and did not do a breast exam bc i am breast feeding. it was advised not to go back on the pill bc it dries up milk production.
we talked about my emotional status and that was about it...

I was a c-section. I had asked for the pill at 4 weeks and got my period right away. They did an internal sono at my checkup because they were surprised I was bleeding already and wanted to make sure everything was ok. No breast exam since I am EBF. DH only drove me to my two week appt since I couldn't drive then (well I could have, but they didn't want me to yet).

Thanks! I didn't even think of that-I am breastfeeding also. I will make sure I mention that to him (he never asked me).

No, DH didn't come to my 6 week pp appt. He stayed home with the baby lol. My dr did an internal and breast exam and then sent me on my way.

I had an internal, pap, breast exam, and we spoke about birth control.
DH did not come- I didn't see any reason for him to be there for a plain old gyno exam
Plus- somebody had to watch the baby
