How do you clear frost of the car windshield?
While I was scraping my windshield this morning, I was wondering what everyone else did on frosty mornings.

depends how bad it is... if its not going make me sweat lol i'll scrape... if its bad, i defrost it until it becomes easy to scrape!

I have a fabulous SO who warms up the car before we leave in the morning. 
When i was still working at my last job, he would get up at 5am and shovel my car out, scrape it off, and warm it up for me so i could leave at 5:30am.  He didn't have to be up until 6:30!
Yeah, he's a keeper.

my DH usually does this for me, but I just use a scraper with the defroster on if it's just myself

i blast my windshield wiper fluid with my defroster on and then use a scraper on whats left

I usually don't get it started early enough to just use the defroster, so it's a combo of defrosting and scraping.

Auto Start! hahaha
Before we get out of the truck we leave the heat on high, and the defroster on. Then about 20min before we leave we auto start. Let it warm up and warm up the windshield.
My car.... stays in the garage.
(Yes, we get frost, no snow, but ice is always present for winter).

I scrape the car and run the defroster. Since I have to put my infant in the car, I want to make sure all my windows are clear and the car is warm for her.

depends. if i am in a rush i use the scraper while the defroster is on. not in a rush will sit in the car with defroster and heater on and use the wipers for the last bits.

I spray windshield wiper fluid on it- and use the wipers
The fluid contains anti-freeze- so it works like a charm!

used the defroster on this mornings ice. if its a thicker ice-ill spray ice melt-use defroster and scrape
