Feeling really fat

Tonight I was trying on some of my work maternity outfits -- DH said, "Wow - you really are big this time". He followed up with, "I don't know where the weight is NOT going, honey. You're just really big"
I believe he genuinely thought he was complimenting me.
Then it got worse when I was changing into my PJs -- I realized my stretch marks on my hips have abraded skin and are bleeding. WTH is going on? I haven't even hit my third trimester yet -- but my belly button has already popped and so many of my maternity shirts don't cover my belly anymore -- this is the only thing I get frustrated with about my pregnancies --

I don't know what it is with men sometimes!

Ugh, I'm sorry he upset you. I'm finding a lot of people think calling you "big" during pregnancy seem to think it's a compliment. My mom keeps telling me how huge I am They don't mean to be insulting but it still hurts to hear it. Just know you are doing what's best for your LO and everyone carries differently. Hope you're feeling better!

I'm on my 3rd also, and I feel bigger much quicker this time around.

I don't get stretch marks, but they say that it helps to gain weight very gradually and steady. Around a pound per week. That may help if you're not doing that already.

Try not to stress about it. You know you'll be back to normal after all is said and done.

My 3rd also. DH informed me that this is different then my other two pregnancies because with them I went straight out, and now I am wide all over.

He now permanently walks around with my foot up his asss.

Totally know where you are coming from. I am on number 2 and with number one I went from 125 to 150 in the first trimester alone. By the end of my pregnancy I was almost 200 pounds. I went off a medication when I got pregnant that just screwed up my body and made me so hungry. With this pregnancy, I have only gained 5 pounds but I am so much bigger looking this time. My stomach is huge, people have asked if I am due any day now... I'm only 6 months. I get the stretch marks too. Nothing new this time..yet but last time the tops of my thighs had them where they looked like they were opening. No one told me about stretch marks in other places besides your stomach. My sister barely gained any weight with her pregnancy, did coconut oil and vitamin e every single day, walked out of the delivery room looking like she never was even pregnant and she even got stretch marks.
