When did you tell your parents?
DH and I were debating this tonight. I will be about 7 weeks at christmas.

After I got my BFP, and told DH, he told his parents about 20 mins later. I told mine two days later because I was waiting for them to be together when i told them, otherwise I would have told my parents before DH told his!

It was so hard not to tell them right away. But we went on a family cruise when I was 8 weeks pregnant, and so I told them then, when I had them together (they were seperated).

With both pregnancies, we told them as soon as we could see them in person after we saw the heartbeat. It was around 7 weeks both times.

We told my parents the day after we found out. Told dh's after my first appt 2 week later. I was so nervous to say anything to anyone so early so the less people who knew, the better!

With both pregnancies we told both sets of parents in person after we saw a heartbeat - around 7-8 weeks.

We told after our 1st u/s where we heard the heartbeat, it was just 7 weeks.

I called my mom right after I peed on the stick!! Told my dad after my blood work and told DH's mom the same time.

I was going to wait until the holidays, but my grandfather passed away 3 days after I got my BFP. I felt the need to tell them and I'm glad I did.

With my first 2, we told parents at about 6 weeks or so. Both these pregnancies I had sonos early and felt comfortable telling.
this time, my first doc visit wasn't until 9 weeks, so we said we would wait until my 12 week NT scan. When we had a little scare then, we waited a little longer, and told parents at 16 weeks. Everyone else found out at 23 weeks, on Thanksgiving.

We told both families at the same time at 9 weeks, after we had the first sono and the first official OB appt.

When I got to work the morning of my BFP. THey knew the IF stuff I was going through so there was no way I could wait.

my 1st pregnancy I had this internal voice telling me to wait until after my 8 week visit/sono. My DH couldn't believe I was waiting to tell my mom. After the 8 week visit we came home and told her. I lost the baby at 12 weeks. I swore next time I'd wait even longer.
Well, next time, I told about 2 hours after my BFP!
It was as though my intuition was right on. I knew the 2nd pregnancy was going to be fine and I had no reservations about telling everyone right away, whereas the first time I was reluctant.
I guess, my point is, I believe in telling when you feel comfortable telling. To me there is no wrong or right time. 
Enjoy telling people whenever you decide to! It's so much fun!!!!
