not cleared for ivf...i want to run into traffic

Ugh!!!!!!!!

I just got back from my follow up with the hemotologist...he feels it is in my best interest health wise to hold off on doing ivf until this blood clot in my leg is gone

Minimum 2 months until another ultrasound is done maybe more if it not gone

I am just heartbroken...we were going to start this cycle but I had to be cleared first by hemo

I just cannot take any more waiting or interferences...I want a baby already

And also increased my lovenox again..200 mg daily...fun fun fun


So much for being thankful....sorry to be such a downer

OMG!! Gina I'm sorry, that STINKS!!

On the bright side, at least you know he is out for your best interest here and this is the safest route... but UGH I'd be kicking the sand with that news too!

Hopefully the time will fly since its the holiday season!!

Gina I am so sorry but pregnancy can give you more clots and can then be a danger to the baby.

I know its going to be hard but just know it is the best for you and your future baby.

Ugh, I'm so sorry Gina! I's no fun when the drugs that were supposed to help you with the problem you already have cause new problems that make things more difficult.

At least it's the holidays and there's plenty of good stuff to distract you from all the waiting. Try to enjoy it! (I know, easier said than done...you know we've all been there.)

im so sorry!!!

but i know firsthand that blood clotting issues can lead to huge issues during pregnancy... im fairly certain that my clotting issue lead to pre-eclampsia and that my hospital switch from lovenox to heparin led to HELLP causing me to have to deliver an IUGR preemie at 33w. i know its so frustrating NOW, but in the long run for the health of you and your baby, when you look back at it 2 months will mean absolutely nothing!!

I'm soo very sorry I know there's nothing we can do or say to make this better but I know you will find the strength to keep going and stay positive.

OH NO! So sorry for anyone to get this news. I am new to this infertility thing but definitely understand the disappointment of waiting.

That blows,but clots are no joke especially once you conceive so its good that you are being treated for it now.

thanks everyone..i am just so frustrated and upset..it is just a mix of everything..holidays,meds,money for meds and ivf,every person in america having the most adorable baby on fb in christmas clothes...i am just tired..emotionally and phsically from this dam clot lol

i appreciate the warm wishes..just another bump in the road i guess

@alli and flower wife..you guys said exaxctly what he said about pregnancy and clotting...i felt so bad for him bc when he said it i started to cry and i think he felt bad ..i know it is for the best it just suucks
