Show me your stroller

I'm so into looking at strollers. I would love to see all the mommy's strollers and maybe you could add a little review?

I'm in love with the Perego Pramette Completo- but have yet to find a place where they sell it in the US! I wonder if there is a reason for that.

Re: Show me your stroller

I have the Peg Pegeo Venezia. I think the fact that you can reverse the handle bar and face the baby even when he/she grows out of the infant seat is a great feature. I would never buy another stroller Chat Icon

Re: Show me your stroller

That's the other one I've been considering- and that's the exact reason. The pramette reverses as well, I feel like the bassinet area would be a little bigger, that's the reason I'm leaning towards it.

I looked at the pramette at Buy Buy Baby, with the reverse handle and all that stuff

Really the P3 Pramette, they had it there? Or are you thinking of the Venezia?

The bugaboo is great too- but I want to register for and not buy it myself if I can! FH's family would have a field day if I put the Bugaboo on there! They already think I'm a princess- but that's a whole different thread!

Here is a pic of the pramette- not necessarily the fabric I'd choose.

Nope they def had it there. It has a different collapsing system, its right on the handle as opposed to the veniza where it was this thing on the back legs. It was cool b/c you can take the handle and just flip it back and forth, so it goes from pram to stroller so simply. The venezia, you have to take this part off and attach that, etc.

I personally liked it better, the Buy Buy Baby guy was trying to get me to go for the Venezia b/c the Pramette was 4 lbs heavier than the Venezia and close to being one of the heaviest strollers on the market (or something like that) I dont see it on their website, so maybe they are getting rid of it soon so I would go there ASAP. They change their strollers around every once in a while.

There was also something else, I think the tray was detachable on the Venzia but not on the pramette? He said when you're trying to get a kid into the stroller, its harder to do when you have to lift them over the handle- I could be confusing that part though, we also looked at the pilko to compare.

Im not getting the perego afterall, but Pramette is def my #2 pick, and then Venezia.

Thanks for this info! Actually in my venezia all you have to do is pull up a lever on both side of the handle and the same time and pull the handle in the direction you want it to face. No taking anything apart.

Also on the venezia the childs snack tray does come off.

eta. Also 4 pounds is a huge weight difference when you are talking about strollers. I consider the venezia pretty light compared to the strollers I had before it but some people complain that the venezia is a little heavy, so I would imagine at 4 pounds heavier the other stroller would be a little difficult.

Re: Show me your stroller

My friend has this stroller - Its around the same price as the venezia ( maybe a drop cheaper) and also has the option for you to face the baby. I don't really like the style of material it comes with but its cute

Yeah thats what the guy kept saying, when your lifting it in and out of the car or whatever it really makes a difference! I think he was attaching and moving around the hood for the venezia when turning it into a pram or maybe that was another stroller, I was taking in a lot info at the time!

I know peg likes to change little things every year and my stroller is already 2 or 3 years old now but it is def. easy to change over. I bought the venezia for my friends baby shower and she always complains how heavy it is! I was shocked b/c I always considered it to be very light weight so I guess everyone is different.

Thank you so much- i want to run out and go look right now- 4lbs doesn't seem so much heavier to me. I think the Graco travel systems are much heavier even without the car seat.

Out of curiosity which stroller did you end up choosing?

Princess Schmincess...its worth every penny. Its so light and easy to fold and unfold, I can throw it in the trunk of my tiny car, all my friends who got the Pliko Pramette prams hate them and wish they got the bugaboos in the first place. Its a magic machine!

If you can get someone else to buy it for you, even better! When I brough my bug to LI in May, I got stopped everywhere I went with people asking me about it. If you LOVE attention like I do...its the pram for you!!!

Also, my baby is HOT, this just shows him off even better!

Re: Show me your stroller

We have the Inglesina Zippy. Love it. It folds and unfolds with one hand and rides really smoothly. It comes with a rain shield and you can use just about any car seat with it (I have the Graco Snug Ride and it attaches with straps). The only thing that I don't like about it is the basket underneath is blocked by this crossbar thing, so you have to get your stuff out from the sides of the basket instead of the back.
