Re: 6 month old xmas gifts?

I have a 2 year old DS already and the baby will be 5.5 months for the holidays.
Since he already has so much from his older brother I'm trying to get some little things or personalized stuff...

personalized music CD (we have one for his brother too)
personalized growth chart that goes with his room
stuff for his room
rattles, little toys, etc
clothes

I was going to get a personalized step stool, but he has time. My toddler has one and loves it.

THe toys and clothes I'm just telling other people to get. Worst case is I return it for store credit and use it in the future when needed

Walking/pulling up toys
The leap frog table might be a good idea
Laugh and Learn house/barn/ or kitchen would be good from this age and up

Then some small things... high chair toy, pajamas, soft books, teething toys...

Re: 6 month old xmas gifts?

To be honest- last Xmas DD was 6 months old- and I didn't get her much.
We really are limited on space and she didn't really "get" the whole gift thing at that age either.
I knew that my family would be buying her stuff too.

So we ended up getting her like 2 toys...just to have something to open on Xmas morning...

Re: 6 month old xmas gifts?

We're not getting him much, probably a Hess truck (b/c we want him to have one from every year), a first Christmas ornament, a few other ornaments and maybe one or two toys.

I know my family will get him a ton of things and I feel like at this age the toys don't last very long, maybe a few months and then they are on to other things so I don't want to buy too many.
