Nursery furniture color?
Looking at going for white furniture, but is this a no go for a possible boys room? Found an awesome black friday deal, but wont know gender until Xmas time

I love white furniture and don't see it being an issue for a boy. DH and I are leaning towards ordering white and we won't be finding out the sex of our baby. I think white is perfect for a baby, you can play it up with blues and it look great with most bedding sets.

Very true... It could end up being boy nautical which actually fits the rest of our beachy house lol

Exactly! I love that look! We've had some family members give us a weird look when we said white, but I'm not too concerned with their thoughts on it. Also, if you are getting a convertible crib it will be so much easier to find matching white pieces when the time comes. White is white no matter where you go, where as wood colors vary. Good luck!

I have a boy and his furniture is all white. It's a classic nautical theme with the PBK Madras bedding, white walls with one blue accent wall and vintage sailboat pictures, etc.

I think white for a boy is fine- I wanted white for my team green baby the first time around and I was going to do a beachy nautical theme for a boy.
Can you share the deal? I still need furniture for DD2

I think white is perfect for boys/girls. I am finding out in Dec too but I already know I will be using white no matter what it is.
Imagine a cute white, light blue, beige or brown color scheme..so cute!

My dd has white furniture and I love it! Because this baby will be a sharing a room with dd he or she will also be getting a white crib! I think white is fine for both.
