Good gloves for toddlers?
I want to get 2.5yo DS a good pair of waterproof gloves, ones he can play with snow. Last year he just had mittens. They were not the waterproof kind.
Can you recommend good gloves for toddlers?

At 2 1/2 this year I still don't think we will be successful with finger gloves. I got DS great mittens from Costco and I hope they get the same ones again. They had a nice long cuff that zipped and stayed on.

Just curious why finger gloves would be difficult on a 2.5 yo?
If I remember correctly, we got mittens for DS because we thought it would be hard to put gloves on DS last year. Is that the same reason?
DS didn't play outside in the cold often though. we just put them on for brief walks. most of the time, he was in the bundle me in a stroller.

Basically, yes, mittens are easier. Sure I'll get a pair of finger gloves but judging by last year, we play a lot in the snow and with the 30 times of gloves on, gloves off, gloves on in each outing, mittens just work better!
It's not like he'll be forming championship snowballs or operating the snowblower and need dexterous fingers. Mittens will do him fine for snowman building, sledding and snow angels.
I'm a fully functioning mitten person myself so I guess that's part of my reason too.
