What do we think of Bertucci's for a 1st birthday party?
Ive been there once or twice, didn't know they have a party room. Was thinking it might work for DS's first birthday?
I'm in Queens so the Westbury one would be closer...
Any comments/thoughts? Anyone ever had a party there? Is it worth it? I was thinking of just doing different kids of pizzas since it will be a daytime party.

We had our D's 2nd birthday at Bertucci's in Melville. It was great! The food was good, the room was big and clean. It was perfect for us and our guests!

Re: What do we think of Bertucci's for a 1st birthday party?
I just responded on FB, but I'll respond here, too!
I've been there for a baby shower. The food is really good, but the room that they have parties in is VERY small. I'm not sure if they'd open up part of the restaurant if you have a large group. We are having my son's 1st bday party at Grimaldi's in Garden City. It has a very similar menu as Bertucci's and the price is hard to beat. We are paying $18pp + alcohol! This price includes appetizers, salad, calzones, unlimited pizza, soda, coffee, tea, etc. The only thing it doesn't include is alcohol. We are just going to run a tab bc it wouldn't make sense to pay for an open bar on a Sunday afternoon.

thanks Maria, I love Grimaldi's. I've never been to the Garden City one but I'm def going to check it out now.
Are you having alot of people? We're going to have about 40-45 people so I'm not sure if they do parties that size.
That price is awesome, I'm looking in a saturday afternoon so it would be plenty of food for a lunchtime party.

Anytime!!
We are going to end up with about 45 people, too. They close the whole front side of the restaurant and it's a great size for the amout of people that we are expecting. Their max capacity is 80, so I love that we have the extra room. We are having a puppet show, face painting and Elmo, so we will have a large part of the room sectioned off for that. They say they do parties all the time!

I would do it. Food is good and that olive oil dip for the bread is amazing.
