What's the point of baby apps?
The ones were you keep track of the diaper changes, the feedings, the everythings?
Is it for the new moms that are just that tired they can't remember, or is it for letting the Pediatrician know details, or what?
Is this something you have to have? Am I going to regret if I don't do it? Please help this newbie out! Thank you!!!!!

Re: What's the point of baby apps?
I use total baby. I used it early on to record nursing and diaper changes. It was helpful becuase she had lost some weight in the hospital and the doctor kept asking about wet/poop diapers. I stopped recording once my milk came in and she was peeing and pooping a ton. I still use it to record immunizations and weight. I like that it gives you a percentile for weight and height.
Is it necessary? No. Will you regret not using it? Probably not. I think it's helpful, but then again I'm a recorder by nature, you should see my regular planner, haha.

We use a little notebook to keep track, and are still doing it a month after they've been home.
It started because the NICU told us to keep track to review with the pediatrician.
Now its mostly because we have been tending to them in shifts, so it helps if one of us wants to look back and see when the last poopie diaper was or how much they ate at their last feeding.
