Dressing Infants in the Cold Weather
How do you / did you dress your 3-9 month olds? Is an undershirt necessary?

My kids wore a short sleeve onesie thing under a shirt and pants or a footed pj outfit when they were under 4 months old.

I always have a onesie on under his clothes....sometimes long sleeved depending on how chilly it is and how heavy his clothes are.
I always have a chill - - so don't want him to feel that way.

Liam always had layers at that point. Actually now that it is getting chilly, he is starting layers again. No more onsies but, just reg. undershirts.

The rule of thumb our ped told us was whatever we have on PLUS 1 light layer.
