where to stay with an 18m out east next weekend?
We want to do some picking, and just hanging out and enjoying the deserted beaches. DH and I got married out there, and our anniversary coming up, but we want to take DS.
Its a long drive for us, from Brooklyn, so wonder where we can stay out there to be closer. I only know of a few B&Bs and not sure how to gauge if anything is kid friendly.
Near or within 20min of Riverhead.

I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in Riverhead recently for a wedding and I would consider it kid friendly.
The only drawback is if there is racing going on - you can hear it constantly.
There is also a Hilton Garden Inn which friends stayed at and enjoyed and I believe they recently opened a Hyatt Place.
ETA - I tend to stick to chains because I know what I'm getting!
