Has anyone seen that Pampers commercial...the one on TLC often?
It's incredible and makes me shed a tear *almost* every time. It's about all babies being miracles, regardless of any and all circumstances. The C-section mommy in me only wishes they had a little clip of a C-section scenario during the part about "however it happens."  I'm still feeling so beat up over it, almost 9 months later! I have serious vaginal birth envy!

Makes me cry everytime!! When I was home on bedrest before the baby you would think I was watching Terms of Endearement or something, LOL.
As for the c-section situtaion, I am only 3+ months PP and have had a very difficult time dealing with my daughter's birth being a section. One thing that has helped me, is reading a little blip in a card my parents got me, and it says something along the lines of whatever you have or have not done in life, you have brought a daughter into the world and made it a more beautiful place  .
I know it doens't heal the pain, but it does make me fell a little less angst over it.

funny you mention that commercial because this morning, I was thinking about how it puts me to tears everytime I see it!
There are plenty of birth envies and wishes...mine is that I wish my DS wasn't in the NICU for a week, and I wish that he would have been born healthy..but he is a healthy and happy baby now!

I know; I'm so lucky she was born healthy so I should not even be upset. My mom literally snaps me back to reality whenever i mention it, since my sister was born with a disability and my mom had a natural childbirth. She tells me: what happened to you, the C, it means NOTHING and has no bearing on you as a woman.

Oh I didn't mean that you shouldn't be upset! I can understand why you are upset about ending up with a C section and I feel bad for you!! Do you plan on trying for a VBAC in the future? (if that's TMI, my bad!)

Not TMI at all!! I would love to try; however, I haven't done much research yet. I know it can be dangerous and I don't want to put my own, I guess, selfishness about wanting to experience this over the safety of a baby. As I know it right now, my doctor told me she would schedule me for 39 weeks, and if I happened to go earlier she would "let me try." Who knows. Baby number 2 is not yet in the works!
