I need ideas and I need them FAST!
I think I have posted this before but I am not sure.
I am a preschool teacher and have been at my job for 7 years. I have worked with the same wonderful assistant all these years and I want to give her something very special just to say thank you and let her know I will miss her so much (my last day is next friday..I am taking next year off to stay home with my baby).
I want to spend about 200.00 on something special but I have no idea what. I already did a spa package for her birthday so thats out. Does anyone have any other ideas??? Please help me out. If I want to order something, I need to do it NOW since of course I waited till the last minute as usual. TIA

Amex Gift card-she can do whatever she wants
A nice pair of earrings or a bracelet
Gift certificate for a fancy restaurant.

one of those sterling silver Tiffany necklaces-- they have so many different options to choose from. My favorite are the Elsa Peretti initials though.

I think a GC is a little impersonal, but if you'ree restricted in time, it's the best bet.
I agree with some type of engraved jewelry or perhaps something like a coach or kate spade organizer?

Tiffany is a great idea b/c even without the recipt they are really good about giving store credit so if she dosen't like it she can exchange it for something else - and its not like the item ever goes on sale so she will get the full value when she exchanges it

Hmm....Tickets to a broadway show....gift certificate to the mall..she is quite stylish so she'd appreciate that.....designer pocket book with a gift card inside......doesn't she travel south a lot?? I can't remember if its her..but a gift certificate to an airline or travel agency......you could make a basket filled with summer items, candles, gift certificate for mani/pedi and spa day......What does she like to do?? Does she collect anything???

I am telling ya..she is super hard to buy for. She is very trendy and loves brand names.
Ive gotten her everything from spa gift certificates to a bracelet.
Keep the ideas coming though!

I would go with an AMEX, VIsa or MC gift card. the whole impersonal thing is bull-I'd rather get a gift card I could spend where and when I want with a heartfelt card then have my gift picked out. Just me
