I dont like to sit on crumbs why would she? I would ate to sit and eat at a sticky table, why would she? haha
I wonder if the people who said they never clean it, if they themselves eat on the dirty dishes they ate on days before? so gross.

I clean it every time, top to bottom....but I don't consider that the norm. I have a touch of ocd. I think a quick wipe down is ok.

I clean the trays after every meal. The visiable crumbs are usually eaten by my beagle. Our cover is made of cloth and a PITA to clean (hand wshed and can't go in the dryer) so I don't wash it as much as I should. But to be honest, after reading this post, I sure as heck washed it yesterday!

I clean the tray/base after every meal with hot sopay water. If there are a lot of crumbs I vacuum the seat and wipe the seat and straps with a hot cloth. I remove the seat cover and wash every other week unless its bad - then once a week.

When I had a high chair with fabric, I had a hard time keeping it clean. There were so many cracks and crevices and the fabric would get dirty in an instant. I got rid of it for one that was much easier to clean. Now they have booster seats that are very easy to clean. They get wiped down every night (they eat at school during the day) and Dh gives them a thorough cleaning (removing them from the chair and washing straps and everything in the shower) once a week or so.

I always wipe down the seat with a wipe. And I clean the tray with warm water and soap after every meal.
