Yes we do. Its not so bright that they cant distinguish between night and day. Its just so that if they wake up in the middle of the night they are not scared.

I think that we did in the very beginning, but it was a realllly dim nightlight. Once the bulb burned out, we just never replaced it .

Same here, too. Plus, if I have to go in their for a diaper change or something, I can see what I'm doing without having to turn on the overhead lights.

I use the projector on his noise machine as a night light... It doesn't spin anymore and it is just enough to see what is going on in there if I have to go in to his room...

Our monitor has a night light attached to it that we use and that seems to work well. It's a blue light. Enough for us to check on her before we go to bed, but not bright enough to change her by.

Re: do you leave a night light on in the nursery overnight?
When Kaydyn was waking up with night terrors around 2yo we put one in her room. To help her sleep and also so if she woke up we could see her and we wouldn't have to turn the regular lights on.
Now she asks for it every night. If we forget to plug it in she asks for it. It's not bright at all, but just enough to comfort her and so we can see in there.

Re: do you leave a night light on in the nursery overnight?
I've had a night light in my DD's room since she was born (she's almost 3 and it's still in there) and she has always been a GREAT sleeper. I really wouldn't sweat it.

Re: do you leave a night light on in the nursery overnight?
No night light in either room. DD sleeps with a glow worm and turns it on if she wants light. We keep a light on in the hallway though, especially if DS needs to run to our room for some reason.

Re: do you leave a night light on in the nursery overnight?
Dd's chandelier is on a dimmer, so I keep it on very low. It's pretty much dark in her room.

No, never have. The light in her room is on a dimmer switch so if I need to go in I just put it low.

Re: do you leave a night light on in the nursery overnight?
No. I did buy one but when I put it on I felt like it was too bright. I also can't sleep with any lights on whatsoever (even the light from the cable box drives me bonkers if it's on) so I automatically assume if it bothers me, it will bother DD . Also, I felt like the nightlight made shadows on the wall that might actually scare her if she were to wake up in the middle of the night. In the future, I might put one in if need be. But for now, we're good.

Same for both kids. The nightlights we found were all brighter than that!
