With DD# I believe we BD the day before and the day after.

With DD#2 I think it was day of. I was on BCP and I felt twinges that day but I thought it was BDing. I think I was actually O'ing

Re: Girl mommy's

Hmmm- BDed the day before my surge on the OPK.
Then the day of the surge did not cuase I was sick.
Then BDed the day after the surge

So can't say which day it was that hit the bullseye!
Could have been the day before the surge or the day after!

Re: Girl mommy's

With DD1- we weren't trying or paying attention. But, according to her due date (the dr estimated her conception date), the date she was conceived we didn't DTD--we had done it 2 days before and 4 days before.

With DD2, we only DTD 1 time that whole month. According to her due date, she was conceived the one day we DTD that month. (I was nursing at the time and didn't think I was ovulating)

Re: Girl mommy's

I only kept track off my cycle and I could usually feel ovulation.

With DS we BD on CD 11, 13, 15.

With twin DDs we BD on CD 13.

I typically felt ovulation on CD 13.

I have a 28-30 day cycle.

around 2-3 days before I O'd

ETA: with my DS we also BD 2-3 days before so it didnt make a difference. The only difference I could think was my DH was taking magnesium when I got pregnant with DD. We didn't realize till later on, that magnesium tends to be one of the things people use when they try to sway (we didnt sway for either).

Re: Girl mommy's

both times right around ovulation...everything defied what swaying for gender would say to, though we weren't swaying for either gender at any time.

Re: Girl mommy's

I followed Deanna's plan (someone posted it on TTC) for both of my kids - exactly the same - my first was a boy, the second a girl so I guess it doesn't make a difference Chat Icon

It truly does not make a difference.

Millions of sperm..one is gonna get there..lol.

Most of my friends who tried for one gender got the opposite of what they wanted..so to me, i don't buy it.

But I bet 50% of people will tell you it worked for them! Lol.

It doesn't make a difference. I had an IUI both times, so it was planned within hours of my ovulation.
First time - twins - boy and girl.
Second time - girl.

Re: Girl mommy's

I had an IUI. My insemination was done right after I ovulated.
